There are so many different champagnes

Throughout the year, Vignoble Selection works in close collaboration, and exclusively, with independant winegrowers chosen for the quality of their wine and their passion of the land.

Worlwide known, the « Champagne » aerie cannot come down to a generic term.

First, there is an exceptionnal land, a rigourous but tempered climate with an oceanic influence, a clay ground and nice slopes inscreasing the sunshine power of the 280.000 plots composing the 35.000 hectares of the aerie of appellation.

Then there are men. Men who knew how to pull the best of these lands by raising the grapevine. Men who, throughout the year, cultivate their plots with passion. Among these men, who detain more than 90 % of the vineyard, 5.000 decided to convert into wine themselves, either on their domain, or within cooperatives, the fruits of their job.

The aerie of appellation therefore does not allow to produce one Champagne but many different Champagnes which are the expression of lands, knowledges - to make, of culturales traditional practices, transmitted of generation in generation and which the winegrowers sublimate to make the image of their personality.

Vignoble Sélection onvite you to discover this vineyard, these lands, this récoltants and their unique know-how. Our partners winegrowers work out specific wines (grown in fûts of oak, extra - dry, old grape varieties …) born in their passion, still often according to traditional methods

These champagnes of recoltants, specific wines par excellence, distinguish themselves profoundly, all over their nature, all standards: different of course from wines present standards in supermarkets ; different also from champagne standards offered by the medium and big houses of Champagne region; different finally because often difficult to find, even in shops acknowledged to be specialized, which offer such products at high prices since being often those of the very big houses of champagne and not small producers.

Our selection, of more than 100 references, will enrapture the amateurs as the specialists of wines of Champagne region, simply curious, eager to discover or to make discover to their fellows new tastes and to expand their cellar of champagnes of exception. This selection will allow anyone to travel, the time of a tasting, in the middle of the "Champagne" vineyard.
